The days 11, 12 and 13th of November, Elche became the meeting point for some of the most brilliant minds in science and technology at The Brain and The Chip 2024 Conference. Over three days, we welcomed more than 150 attendees and hosted a lineup of over 35 talks by leading experts in the fields of neuroprosthetics, brain-computer interfaces (BCI), artificial vision, and neural engineering.

From advances in restoring vision to innovative approaches in neuroengineering and decoding neural activity, the topics covered pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in neuroscience and technology. One of the highlights of the event was the sheer diversity of perspectives represented. Experts from academia, medicine, engineering, and technology joined forces to explore how these rapidly evolving fields can transform lives, particularly for individuals with disabilities or neurological challenges. The enthusiastic feedback from participants highlighted the value of creating a platform where science meets real-world impact.

We’re thrilled with the success of this year’s edition and grateful to everyone who attended, participated, and supported this journey. A big thank you to our speakers, attendees, and the entire organizing team for making this event a reality.

As we look to the future, we’re excited to see how the ideas and collaborations sparked here will continue to grow. Stay tuned for the next edition of The Brain and The Chip; we can’t wait to welcome you back!
